Harry E. Clark, 87 years old, passed away peacefully at the Elderwood Nursing Home on Monday, May 14. He was born April 12, 1925, to Harold and Ann Blackman Clark.
He is survived by his nephew Rudy Haupt from Las Vegas, Nev. and a neice Rhonda Vandermeer from British Colombia, Canada.
He is a long time resident of Waverly where he operated Clark's Pharmacy since the early 1950s.
He's preceded in death by his Brothers Allan and Robert and a sister Alice. Harry was a Navy veteran who served in the Pacific during World War II. He was a very private man who lived a very quiet life.
A time of gathering with family and friends will be from 4 to 5 p.m., Wednesday, May 16, 2012, at Blauvelt Funeral Home, 625 Broad Street, Waverly, N.Y. The celebration of Harry's life will follow the visitation with the Bishop Daniel Buynak honoring his memory at 5 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to one's favorite charity. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery, Canton, N.Y.
