Timothy "Timbo" Roblyer, a lifelong resident of the Gillett community, passed away Wednesday morning, Apr. 25, 2012 at the Bradford County Manor at the age of 56 following a brief illness.
Born on Aug. 19, 1955 in Elmira, Tim was the son of the late, Scott G. and Elsie McWhorter Roblyer. Tim was "Everyone's friend" whose interests included super heros, movies, dining out, bowling, fun times with friends and family.
Surviving are his loving family, siblings, Ronald (Marcia) Roblyer of Troy, LeVon (James) Ketter of Mosherville, Denise (James) Morrell of Coral Springs, Fla. and Rev. Sheldon (Karen) Roblyer of Corning, N.Y.; step mother, Janet Roblyer of Mansfield; step siblings, Rodney (Bev) Rockwell of Berkshire, N.Y. and Dayl (Al Colegrove) Ripley of Mansfield; brother-in-law, William (Roxie) Swatsworth of Columbia Cross Roads; and beloved nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Tim was predeceased by his sister, Nancy Swatsworth. "Timbo" lived 27 happy years with his caregivers, Bill and Ellen Gates, their dedicated staff and residents.
Family and friends will be received from 2 to 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 28 at Caywood's Funeral Home and Gardens, 1126 Broadway, Southport. Funeral services will follow the visitation at 3:15 p.m. Burial at the family's convenience in Jobs Corners Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Meador's Personal Care Home, c/o Marcia Roblyer, 2893 Austinville Rd. Troy, PA 16947 in his memory.
