Scott H. Space, 20, of 712 Second St., Towanda, passed away Tuesday evening, April 24, 2012, at the Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre. Scott was born July 25, 1991 in Sayre, Pa. the son of Paul H. and Lela Springer Space. He attended the Towanda schools and was formerly employed by Warren Trucking in Ulster. Scott was employed by CSI Inspection at the time of his passing. Scott loved spending time with his daughter, family and friends. He enjoyed mechanics, especially working on cars, trucks and lawn mowers.
Surviving are his daughter, Maleah Marie Space at home; parents Paul H. and Lela Space of Towanda; brother Michael (Amber) Bennett of Towanda; sister Tiffany Space of Towanda; maternal grandfather, Andrew Springer of Wysox; niece Shaleah; nephews, Malachi, Deagan, Dominic and Cordell; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Elsie Springer and paternal grandparents, Charles and Leah Space.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. on Friday evening at the Maryott-Bowen Funeral Home, 217 York Ave., Towanda. A private funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Towanda.
Contributions may be directed to the Maleah Marie Space Continuing Education Fund in care of Lela Space, 712 Second St. Towanda, Pa. 18848 in memory of Scott H. Space.
