She was born on Spring Hill, Bradford County, Pa., on May 9, 1914, the daughter of the late Foster and Annis Hall Brotzman. She was the wife of Willard K. Crisman, who passed away on March 23, 1941; and M. Cornelius (Neil) King, who passed away on Nov. 21, 1967.

Growing up in the Laceyville area, she was a graduate of the Laceyville High School, class of 1933. All of her life, Mrs. King was a housewife and homemaker, for her husbands, and their family.

All of her life she was a member of the Braintrim Baptist Church in Laceyville. Throughout the years, she was active in the church as a children's Sunday School teacher and in the church nursery, and also active in the Awana Club. Mrs. King was a member of the Indian Hill Birthday Club, the Laceyville Oldest House and the Laceyville–Meshoppen Tyler Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, and for more than 30 years, she was the secretary of the Laceyville Alumni Association. In her spare time she was an avid Scrabble player.

Surviving are her daughters, and their husbands, Bonnie and Robert Baker of Laceyville, and Gail and Gerald Rhodes of Owego, N.Y., and her son and his wife, Rev. Mark and Peggy King of Birchardville, Pa. She is also survived by a daughter-in-law, Helen Crisman of Binghamton, N.Y.; a sister and her husband, Thelma and Donald Cunningham of Laceyville; her brother and his wife, Glenn and Shirley Brotzman of Lake Tapps, Wash.; 15 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and a great-great-granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her husbands, and her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Charles Crisman; three grandsons, Ryan Baker, Bobby Baker and Edward Rhodes; and a granddaughter, Karen Baker.

A special thank you to all of the women who provided tender loving care in her home the past few years. Also a special thank you to Bonnie, her daughter, who spent many hours caring for her Mom.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 15, at the Braintrim Baptist Church, with the Rev. Thomas Davis officiating. Interment will be in the Jersey Hill Cemetery in Meshoppen, Pa.

Family and friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, April 14, at the Sheldon Funeral Home, Main Street, Laceyville, on Tuesday, and from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Wednesday at the church.
