Louis Kralicek, 79

Louis Kralicek 79, of Hornbrook, Towanda RR 5, formerly of LeRaysville, Pa. passed away Wednesday Feb. 14, 2007 at the Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, Pa.

Born August 6, 1927 in Bay Shore, N.Y. he was the son of the late Louis Kralicek and Mary Tripakowski Kralicek.

Louis was a veteran of World War II, having served in the U.S. Army Company G 32nd Infantry Regiment and was stationed in Korea for a period of time. Louis owned and operated his own bakery in Manhattan, N.Y. for a number of years and later moved to Long Island, N.Y. where he continued working as a baker for many years until retirement. He was a member of American Legion Post No. 534 in Wyalusing, Pa. and Bakers Union No. 3 in Long Island, N.Y.

Surviving are: his children, Marie Ferrotta of Long Island, N.Y., Rosemarie Nohejl and her husband Rick of Brooksville, Florida, Louis Kralicek and his wife Judy with whom he resided in Hornbrook, Pa. and William Kralicek of Long Island, N.Y.; his step-children, Angela Tincher and her husband James of Jeffersonville, Indiana, Annmarie Allen and Michael Allen of Lakewood, Colorado, Joseph Ugenti of Tampa, Florida, Thomas Montagnino of Long Island, N.Y., Michael Ugenti of Tampa, Florida; several grandchildren, step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; his brother, Rudolph Kralicek of Long Island N.Y.; his sister, Gerri Rawlinson and her husband Jay of Long Island, N.Y.; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by: his wives, Louise Goode Kralicek in 1979, Ida Rice Kralicek in 1988, and Loretta Alicia Abbey Kralicek in 1998; a step-son, Kenneth Montagnino in 1966; and by his sister, Frances Stensen in 2005.

The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Maryott-Bowen Funeral Home 217 York Ave., Towanda, Pa.

The funeral and committal service will be held Sunday February 18, 2007 at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Sharon Temple, pastor of the Dille Parish United Church of Christ of LeRaysville and Potterville, Pa., officiating.

Interment will be later in the LeRaysville Cemetery, LeRaysville, PA.
