Heather Lynn Schmidt, 27, of 103 Queen Esther Dr., Sayre, passed away Thursday December 5, 2002.
Born in Sayre, PA July 17, 1975 the daughter of Richard and Barbara Burns Schmidt, she was a 1993 graduate of Sayre High School, where she was active in basketball and art courses. She currently was a junior at Mansfield University. She was a beloved daughter and mother.
Heather is survived by her daughter, Alexandria Lynn, her parents of Sayre, her maternal grandparents, William and Betty Burns of Milan, PA; paternal grandparents, Richard and Genevieve Schmidt of Columbus, Ohio; a brother, Garret Charles Schmidt of Sayre, PA; her special friend, Matthew Swift of Elmira, NY, an aunt, Judy Burns of Waverly, NY, cousins, Ashley and Karrie Babcock of Waverly, NY; uncles, Edward Schmidt of Columbus, OH and Steven Schmidt of SanDiego, CA.
Family and friends may call at the Lowery Funeral Home, 225 South Main St., Athens, PA Sunday December 8, 2002 from 2:00-4:00p.m. and 7:00-9:00p.m.
Funeral services will be held at the funeral home Monday at 11:00a.m. with Lay Pastor Chuck Carver officiating.
Burial will be in the Tioga Point Cemetery, Athens, PA.
Memorial donations may be made to the Mansfield University Art Department, Mansfield, PA 16933.
